The Promise of Summer
Long weekends are just the ticket aren't they? We're a bit spoilt in Hawkes Bay too, having our Anniversary Day at Labour Weekend, which gives us a really decent break. A perfect time to get out into the garden, clean the pool, or even head to the beach for that first flush of summer. Gazing into the crystal ball, it sounds like we are in for a long dry one this year.
Are you planning on visiting the 2009 Hawkes Bay A and P Show this year? Apart from the entertainment factor, this annual event is a great opprtunity to get out and meet n greet local business people. So don't forget that stack of business cards in your pocket.
Project K's Annual Kup Day Event
Blow the recession! How is this for a plan. Get your clients and colleagues together, leave work early and head out for some Melbourne Cup raceday fun. Join Project K at it's annual Kup Day fundraiser with Darrin McCormack of Mike Pero Mortgages. There will be champagne and canapes, fashion in the field prizes, big screens, sweepstakes and a charity auction - all proceeds go to Project K kids in Hawkes Bay.
Kup Day 2009 is on November 3rd from 4- 7.30pm at Hawkes Bay Opera House, with an "after race debrief" at Diva Bistro and Bar. Tickets are on sale now through www.ticketdirect.co.nz now - don't miss out. 99's an official organiser this year - so you can be sure it will be a great event.
Extracting Best Value
We all love and value clients! And as you know from the old 80/20 rule, our existing clients are our best assets. Are you extracting the best value from your existing client relationships for your business? We say do yourself a favour and keep in touch.
First stop - how about setting up a round of calls to your existing clients to touch base. Really important in these times when situations can alter in a short space of time. Another option - do a funky eye catching Direct Mail letter to clients - update them with your news and keeps talking to them. Have you considered running a client referral campaign? Good news spreads fast and there's nothing quite like a satisfied client. But if you're just too busy running the business to do something like this properly- you can call always get 99 to help you out. At 99 we love helping you to get working smarter.
On that note, please feel free to forward our newsletter onto any clients or business colleagues. We also have a sign up page on our website http://www.ninety-nine.co.nz/newsletter if you know of anyone who wishes to receive our monthly newsletters.
