Tour de Vines – this weekend
A final reminder about the Tour de Vines Fun Run and Walk this Sunday, 7 March at Kemblefield Estate Winery. This event is a fundraiser for Project K, a fantastic charity helping teens right here in the Bay, so we’d love to see you all there supporting it.
The event caters for people of all abilities, from the 5km walk to the 20km run, so grab your family, friends, workmates or teammates and enjoy the stunning Hawke’s Bay scenery as you stroll (or run) amongst the vines.
Registrations do close this Wednesday, but don’t worry if you miss out - you can register on the day (although a late fee will apply). And don’t forget your costume, as best dressed wins a prize.
For more, click here. You can register on line, its easy.
See you Sunday!
Are you extracting best value?
Our existing clients are our best assets – are you extracting best value from your existing client relationships?
When was the last time you got a call from your accounting firm to touch base? Do they call from time to time with tax changes and the possible implications for your business? Or do you hear from your mechanic to remind you when your next service or warrant of fitness is due?
So many service-based industries wait for the phone to ring.
How about picking it up and ringing your top 20 clients with a ‘how’s things?’ call.
This is a basic good business practice for any of us in a service industry and there are lots of ways to keep in touch – it could be a phone call or a printed or emailed newsletter.
Thinking to yourself, yes, these are great ideas but I haven't got time or can't be bothered?
99 can help with each of these and we can check to make sure those receiving newsletters are happy to get correspondence from you.
If you think this could help your business, give Sophie a call to have a chat about different ways to keep in touch with your clients on a regular basis. Your current business practice need not change; we can just help you improve it.
Heard of Skype? Now there’s VoIP
Had enough of expensive phone bills?
Want to stay in touch at a fraction of the cost?
Kiwilink introduces VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), technology that lets you make phone calls using your broadband internet connection instead of your regular phone service.
VoIP features super cheap calling rates, low capital setup costs, up to five incoming calls on a single line and unlimited stepping lines.
Kiwilink prides itself on providing a down to earth, friendly Kiwi approach to accessing and using the net, so click here for more info.
One last thing….
For many of you, this is the last month of the financial year, so let’s make it a good one!
